The Digital Journalist features getty images’ John Moore this month. I have been a long time reader of this online magazine, which I usually read the moment it hits my reader. His photographer’s journal from Zimbabwe is a little long but does not feel it. His degree from the University of Texas at Austin was in Radio, Television and Film which shows the most in this piece. Moore uses all of the frame his camera gives him to record what is in front of him. It is more than the what has been typical of some wire services where it is all news and little context. Moore puts the context in the images. Each can stand on its own, but adds to the other pictures in the series.
